Partnership in Action
We were the happy recipients of the Bruce Williams Legacy Grant through Greater Valdosta United Way! Thanks to this grant we were able to complete some much-needed improvements:
- A refrigeration upgrade for our MedBank medicines means more room and a more efficient process for the MedBank Team.
- The Woodrow Wilson parking lot had seen better days and after being repaired and sealed, it looks brand new!
- If you have visited the Griffin clinic you may have noticed the 20-year-old carpet in the front desk area. It has been replaced by sleek vinyl flooring which is a much more practical choice for our busy clinic.
Michael Smith and his staff are tireless in their efforts to source assistance for all the partner agencies who are working to meet the needs in our community. We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with the GVUW!
A Life Changed
"November 2019, had heart and kidney failure. My employer dropped my insurance, and I was not only fighting for my life, but faced financial ruin. The great staff at SGMC introduced me and had me approved to see the wonderful people at Partnership. There is no doubt in my mind, had I not been treated by these amazing Doctors and Nurses and staff, I would not be here right now. The care, compassion, understanding, and at times stern care has been amazing. I want to thank Amanda, Jacqueline, all the nurses, and everyone else at the clinic and the main office. As I approach my 65th birthday in a few months, and will not be seeing Partnership, I am very apprehensive about finding new care and the comfort level I have had with Partnership for the past 5 years. I just wanted to say a big thank you to SGMC, and the staff, and all the great professionals at Partnership. Words cannot express my appreciation."
Filling the Pantry

We Have Swag!
On Friday, before the long Memorial Day weekend, some of our fabulous staff were the very first to receive the newest PHC swag! Given a choice between the coffee mug and beverage tumbler almost everyone went with the tumbler. I don’t blame them, it turned out great. It is exciting to have more ways to celebrate our PHC people!
